Conscious Connected Breathwork is a breathing technique where each breath is consciously connected with no pauses at the top or bottom. This continuous, rhythmic breathing can be done with either an open mouth or a closed mouth, allowing a smooth flow of oxygen throughout the body. The main goal of this type of breathwork practice is to help you relax, reduce stress, and help you connect with yourself on a deeper level.
When you do this type of breathwork practice you can have physical, emotional and spiritual experiences.
On a physical level, you may experience tingling in your body, a dry throat, temperature changes and you may even experience your hands clamping up which is called tetany.
During this type of breathwork practice your body may want to release stored and trapped emotions so you may cry, scream, shout, laugh or make sounds as you breathe. This is your body's way of releasing what is trapped or suppressed inside of you.
Spiritually you may access memories that are buried deep in your subconscious. You may see situations more clearly and you may even connect with loved ones who are no longer here.
Every time you do Conscious Connected Breathwork you will have a new experience, it all depends on the intention you set before you start breathing.
